So I've Been Doin' Stuff.

A friend of mine's helping me coordinate the massive, chaotic storm of a fight scene that is Ch.14 of Hacked! Also, while working on the first short story for Pet Project II, I compiled a handy-dandy, 3-4 page guide to how magic works in that universe, complete with the five symbols designed...last year, I want to say. Yeah, I've been pretty secretive about this. When the PDF goes live, all five symbols will be put up here. 

In the meantime, I do need some things that are beyond my capability. In particular, I'm looking for a cartographer (if you don't know what that is, you probably aren't one - look it up anyways). I can draw, like, a napkin-grade version of the continent, but that's about it. Some locations have already been plotted. 

More spell designers also wouldn't hurt. Note me for details on that. 

In the meantime, please enjoy random polls...and I swear to whatever gods exist, humans are insane for not evolving hibernation. Freeze-thaw kills so much, even if it's not organic (we have roads warped like wet paper, here), and, well, hairlessness in the freezing cold is not a beneficial adaptation. C'mon, we have cool things like hands and brains, but nigh-hairless and cold weather simply do not mix. I'm adding "NOT having hibernation" onto the list with the human spine, foot, and menstrual cycle as evolutionary screw-ups. Either that, or I'm just extremely bad when it comes to dealing with below-zero temperatures.
