Not one of my better stamps (I may even redo it), but it's a much-needed one. Pet Shop of Horrors is one of my favorite manga series to date, and I didn't see a stamp for it yet.
For those of you who have just seen the OVA, though it may be good eye candy, it does not do the manga justice. Matsuri Akino is EXCELLENT at anthology storytelling; I would highly recommend her work to anyone who enjoys that particular style.
The series has often been compared to CLAMP's xxxHoLIC and vice-versa (PSoH came first, FYI). Both series involve the granting of wishes for a price - be careful what you wish for! The wishes in PSoH, naturally, all involve pets, from normal dogs and cats to mythical beasts such as dragons and phoenixes. The tidbits at the back of (at least the American) volumes are also fun to read.
Music: Yousei Teikoku- "Ira." Why I'm listing this, I don't know, but I thought a song titled with the Latin word for 'anger' fit the nature of the series.
Pet Shop of Horrors is (c) Matsuri Akino and the publishers of her work.
Yummy indeed. As I said, though, it's primarily eye candy; the OVA doesn't really...conclude anything. Not like the manga does, at least. Also, I kinda missed T-chan.
It's not through yet.

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
